TRAINS
Get a train from Paddington Main Line to Newport (South Wales), which is 2 hours max.
Change and get a train to CHEPSTOW STATION.
You need to pre-book a taxi from the station, as taxis do not wait outside Chepstow Station (it is a small station). It is approx. 2.5 miles from the station to the Welsh Gatehouse.
NB have the directions – your taxi driver may not know where the Welsh Gatehouse is (or you can find it on Google Maps with our postcode NL16 6HZ or using What3Words reference ///larger.swimsuits.outwit)
You’ll need to tell them it is for the Gatehouse, Moynes Court as they are used to coming round the back to Courtyard House, for William who does not drive.

The nearest bus stop is St Tewdric’s Place, Mathern. The 73 will drop you off there, it is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Welsh Gatehouse from there.
